so who amongst didn't at one time or another want to be a DJ, that way we could enlighten the masses to the good music from our collection.

Well now's your chance, you have taken control over your favorite radio station for the next 5 songs,

what 5 songs are you going too pick?

I know for me it's pretty tough to choose but I'll start with this timeless classic

YouTube - Pink Floyd- Brain Damage Eclipse

this one has to make the cut

YouTube - Were not gonna take it-Tommy

and one from Harry

YouTube - Harry Chapin, Circle

turn it up

YouTube - YYZ - Rush

now turn it up louder

YouTube - Dazed And Confused Led Zeppelin with lyrics

Love to see your 5.

I don't know what songs to choose, but I would have a theme and play only jazz or rockabilly or surfrock.

I wouldn't stick to one genre, I like more than one so I would definitely play all of my favorites.

for my next five I'll start with a Steinman classic:

YouTube - Meat Loaf - For Crying out Loud, with Lyrics

Next up has to be the who

YouTube - The Who - Quadrophenia Original album

got to be Harry

YouTube - Harry Chapin What Made America Famous (Soundstage)

Simon's a genius

YouTube - Kathy's Song - Simon & Garfunkel

my favorite Rush, with an awesome drum cover (the Kids got major talent)

YouTube - Rush 2112 (Overture/Temples of Syrinx) Drum COVER

B-52's - Devils In my Car

Loverboy - The Kid Is Hot Tonight

Madonna - Stay

The Watresses - No Guilt

Modern English I still love "I'd stop the world I'd melt with you"
That is a real turn it up song.

Madonna of course I always pick "Live to tell"
A man can tell a thousand lies
I've learned my lesson well
Hope I live to tell
The secret I have learned, till then
It will burn inside of me

6/3 can you tell me how it can get any better then that?

YouTube - Cream-Strange Brew (Studio Version)

YouTube - Jimi Hendrix "Crosstown Traffic" Studio Outtake

YouTube - Tumbling Dice The Rolling Stones

nice list, I too really liked Modern English, and Loverboy had a nice run in the 80's.
