Just how good were these two? IMO, they were the best. They played with the guitar, they played at the guitar, they played it at it's maximum capacity commanded by ONE MAN! IMO, it was a dead tie for the best. SRV was the only person to tie Jimi. They could both play each others songs with no problem IMO. Jimi would have loved to meet Stevie had he lived when Stevie became famous and known.

My college roomate Matt use to say to me Jim Morrison was his inspiration because he not only was able to play any instrument in the band he was perfect at playing Black Jack.

I would put Louis Armstrong high up if not on top of the list. He was inovating, not just building on what others have done, that is talent.

Same song, different takes, love that kind of talent.

Not so fast, It's widely known fact that Leonardo (real name Lenny Duh-Vintzski) frequently lip-synced at most of his live shows and that the Sistene Chapel was an elaborate paint-by-numbers kit ordered through a Starving Artists trade show.

plus, I hated that stupid Titanic movie too.

So, how good is Kenny? Kenny's style is Jimi, Stevie and Eric Clapton all mixed. He's pretty good!
