Have you ever seen dueling expert drummers go at it for 20 straight minutes? It's something you will never ever forget.
Yeah, I figured they'd probably get Chester to do the drums. What do you suppose would happen if Peter decides to join the band for their performance? Would Peter and Phil trade lead vocals like they did on "Carpet Crawlers '99?" That would be an interesting sight.

Nope. The most recent reunion tour "Turn it on again", Peter was asked. Weeks passed before he said no. It will never happen.

Our best bet is the tribute band "The Musical Box" if they ever decide to play more dates in the states. I seen them once. It is an exact replica. Same theatrics, same Gabriel costumes, and great music.

Well whataya know.....
I just looked and they did put some dates on in the states but all in the north east.

Despite the fact that Peter was the first singer of Genesis, Phil is associated with the Genesis much more now.
In my private opinion Collins is better than Gabriel.

I would say that I prefer the Gabriel era. I lean more towards the weirder, more avant garde stuff. Collins and crew were great without Peter but I just like Gabriel's style better.

Peter Gabriel is brilliant and my vote goes in that direction. I liked "And Then There Were Three", but after that was just lame pop. Of course, Peter Gabriel got better after he left Genesis as well. His was performance art along with poetic & touching lyrics and a very original style of music.

PG was incredible, no question. I find myself leaning to the earlier post Gabriel material they did, at least up through and including ABACAB. Duke is one of my all time favorite albums from any band. Three Sides Live is a great live album as well. You can keep the "Invisible Touch" garbage.
