I love this thread! Mad props to Thomas R, D217 and Artemis Agrotera for making me laugh!

Wow, I forgot how this intro brought the FUNK. Now I better understand why I like what I do!

The best youtube quote from this:

"Man I was just looking for some ideas on home made chips and I stumble across this slice of mother (flippin) awesomeness from my childhood."

True that!

I'm pretty sure I didn't see these on the thread, but I could be mistaken. Kind of a mix of stuff, but maybe a Medieval/Renaissance theme.

The theme to "Who's the Boss" is on the first page.

The following is the theme to the British version of "Who's the Boss." It was apparently one of the more successful "British shows adapted based on US TV."

YouTube - The Upper Hand

Here's some other themes to "British TV adapted from US TV."

YouTube - Law & Order UK Main Theme and Title Credits - I think this might be the only US series to have a British spin-off.

YouTube - Family Fortunes 2000-2002 Theme Tune - Family Feud equivalent.

Themes to shows based on films. (Discounting ones already done)

YouTube - In The Heat Of The Night Opening Theme

YouTube - Outsourced - Season 1 - Intro/Theme Song/Openning

YouTube - Fame (Tv Show) - I think this one might be the film's theme too.

I am really going to show my geek tendencies here.

First, video games.

This game came with the first game console I ever owned, a sega something or other. The theme got implanted in my head...

YouTube - Alex Kidd in Miracle World, theme song

another game I played a lot

YouTube - Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee theme music

This game helped me give up smoking years ago, I needed something to do with my hands. It worked, I gave up cold turkey and never had another cigarette. Poor old Crash Bandicoot got a workout when I was withdrawing though.

As for TV,
My all time favourite show that I have watched since I was a little girl is Doctor Who. This is every version of the theme since the show first started in 1963...
