At Last - Created for the film Orchestra Wives and in numerous shows. I was only going to show the famous Etta James version, but I decided to also include the version from the film.
One of Northern Exposure's odder musical moments and one of the more peculiar things I'd seen on TV up to that point. (A character breaks into song, the series was not a musical before or after, to tell an old fable.)
The last season of the show was comparatively weak, and the last episode kind of weird, but I thought this was a good to great musical montage to end it all. The song is "Our Town" by Iris DeMent.
