A decade ????? Are you kidding me ???? If this crap music continues for a decade, I may become a suicide statistic . Dont kids learn to play guitar and drums anymore . I blame the parents for not supporting school music programs.....

lol i agree with you.i mean through 2010-2019 i doubt this will last long.i'm sure by a year the music will pick up.this crap is a late 2000's trend and i i think it's about run it's course.when i was lil music class was a sham.it was 30 mins and we could only sing.we never got to play instruments or anyhting.kids love playing instruments, music should be a hour class just like any other.

Just when I thought mainstream pop couldn't get any worse, along comes Ke$ha. I ask myself, WHO is buying this garbage and WHY? People are so lacking in musical taste nowadays that anything they see as catchy makes it big. Listen to the lyrics of "Tik Tok"...the song is depraved. It basically glorifies being drunk 24/7 (even in the morning), having guys touch your "junk" and disappearing (great message for teenage girls).

Ke$ha is about as awful as it gets . I don't blame the stupid little girl herself....I blame the sheep, the followers who think "LOLZ this is kewl, I wake up in da morning feelin lyke p diddey too".

You know, ignoring the lyrics...the tune and beat is really good! Not enough to deserve #1, but good enough to shake your booty to

Personally, I'm a Gaga fan, so I get the feeling that Kesha is trying to copy Gaga's pop/dance tunes...

I've never heard of it, but then again I don't listen to ghetto gangsta rap noise. I'm sure it sucks badly, though.

I really miss the 90s. Good economy, quality music, less insane politics. Does anyone happen to have a time machine lying around?

i want to know how this could be listed as her myspace influences?

"MIA, Beck, Rolling Stones, Devo, Flock of Seagulls, kraftwork, Daniel Johnson, talking Heads, David Bowie, Donovan, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Janet and Sir Michael Jackson, Avenue A, The Go! Team, Mika, Sonic Youth, Elton John, Willlie Nelson, Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Beastie Boys, Eagles of Death Metal, Black Keys, Black Eyed Peas, Daft Punk, Electric 6, Teenager, Tonite Only, Prince,Mirwais, Afrika Bambaata, Peaches, Rock&Roll, Richard X, Cornelius, ESG,6ths, ackron family, al green, andrew bird, "

this is the first part(it's a long list of influences) obviously her biggest ones start at MIA-jackson,then go alphabetically.she actually likes some good music,i just don't see it being reflected(she had kinks on her list too).i could accept her trashiness(hey at least she's open about it) if she made good rock n roll.(rock n roll =good music rock=bad mainstream modern crap)i honoestly wouldn't be surprised if she wanted to make rock, but just sold out to the auto tune crap which she knew would be more widely accepted and "appreciated." it's really sad.
