Please do a search before you start a new thread.

We've got five threads on same topic.

I would like to enter into the "Longest running threads at CD" but we can not do this with duplicates.

In case you didn't notice, while inside a thread - you can see thread links to similar topics at the very bottom of the screen.

It would really, really be helpful if the site could be reset so every YouTube video does not clutter the page with the full-screen video still. That is a complete waste of bandwidth, slows down load times, even crashes browsers. It serves absolutely no useful or even decorative function. They should appear exactly as any other URL---nothing but the text line of the URL appears on the screen.

Why on earth does anybody think it is a good idea to have the full-screen graphic for every YouTube URL,, which only creates all of the problems that this thread relates so, and can quickly be corrected by resetting the forum controls.

Here is the thread from Administration regarding the you tube links.
Hope this helps.

That's fine, I can make MY Youtube embedded links disappear on other people's screens---but how do I make all the other embedded links disappear from MY screen? I can 't---right?

Well, We can not make everyone happy. You either enjoy the MUSIC forum with all the shares or you don't.

Another thing -

On your browser settings:
Clean out your temporary files. Change the settings to dump temp files upon exit.
History should be set at zero days to be saved. Your computer should run more smoothly.
Let me know if this helps.

It's not an issue for me, just an annoyance. You are the one who has to keep yelling at us to limit our postings to 3 YouTubes, because the system is set to crash if the number significantly exceeds that. I suggested a way you can reduce that risk, as well as give posters more freedom.
