Just throwing some things out there...before you throw your back out!

Yes, my son taught her the sofa because he likes when she puts her head on his lap watching movies and such. The car seats are leather. You may have a point. When she was smaller I tried to teach her to jump in on the floor area then hop on the seat but now she is too big for the floor area behind the seat. She is fine jumping out when I open the door.
I've been thinking if she watches another dog do something, she will follow? I can get a neighbors dog to work with me. Is this a good idea? I don't think Ginger is the jealous Queen type.

Does Ginger have her own blanket? Maybe you could place that on the seat...or maybe open both car doors, have you and your son at each door calling her through the car?

The neighbor dog...follow the leader may work...but you may end up with two dogs wanting to go bye-bye all the time!!!

Mr Case! on Vacation!! LOL happy to see you
Hope you are having good weather on your travels

as Jim said... do something you never did before... an adventure
enjoying some of the library of Country Gold

::: looking at the videos ::laughing::::

Thursday: loved the sweet puppy faces on the video

DW: loved the film of Ginger and Jim on the motorcycle Yahooty!!

2goldens ... I looked at videos from the dog whisperer since
Jim loves the Dog Whisperer...

Dog Whisperer: Get in the Car

YouTube - Dog Whisperer: Get in the Car!

... try having your son at the other door calling her forward ...
then lift her back hind legs up...

thinking all the ideas from DW seem good.. the blanket because
really she may not like how the leather feels to her paws ..
or is sensitive about her claws poking in ...

and the neighbor dog.. especially if it is a calm dog ...
with a calm human who is grounded... "pack leader"

Big Swede loved the many wonderful posts you set up
for us this morning !

Hope everyone enjoys the summer afternoon

rare

Well, tomorrow, folks, I'll be coming home. Lubbock, Texas will really be in my rear-view mirror (to borrow a phrase from Mac Davis) , but not before, I've had a great time here. Weather was good and the food in this city is fabulous.

See you tomorrow night after I get home, if not Saturday.
