I've lost count how many duplicated threads I've closed, merged or deleted this past week.
One of the main problems is the titles - you need to add search engine words to your title so that others can locate your thread to participate. The other problem is: if you don't hang here for a few days, you won't learn of our existing threads.
It's best to use ONE word to do a search in the music forum. Instead of 'Soul Music' which makes the search sensitive and nothing came up, I searched simply "Soul" and a whole mess of stuff popped up. Instead of Bob Dylan just insert 'Dylan,' 'females' or 'women' or 'girl' for girl bands 'Sun' instead of 'Sun Songs' 'Movies" instead of 'Movie tunes and dual words like 'TV' and 'Television,' and so forth. It's less sensitive that way. You can also cross it with a search of posts along with a search of threads to make sure. There is an option when you do a search in any forum to search threads or posts. But the trick really is the one word search.

Good Sunday morning, everybody! Normally, I'd be at work right now, but I'm recovering from some nuclear medicine to clear up some unwanted cancer cells. So, here I am posting today. You guys are great company!
Hey Case, Gimme here. Just out of curiosity, how many posts have you made in 'Anything Goes'? Every time I turn around you've made another post.
Keep up the good work. You've posted a lot of great tunes that take me back to my younger days and bring back some good memories. Thanks
I just have a lot to give, don't I??
I do, however, try real hard to make sure we give others a chance to post, and everybody does have a shot to get their post in. As long as we don't post back-to-back in the same thread, then that empty place is yours for the taking. But sometimes, as much as four to six hours (or more) can pass in one thread without anyone posting. That may be part of the reason why you might sometimes see me in every other post. When there's a lot of activity, on the other hand, you can expect a greater frequency of postings from any one poster.
Just curious, do you know how many posts you've made in AG?
Just look at the chart of all the threads in the Music forum, and look at one of the columns at the far right. Look under Replies and click on the number (that's the number of replies so far in that thread) and you'll see a pop-up box with a listing of those who've made posts up to that point.
Hey Case! Here's hopin you feel better today! If we were neighbors
I could bring over some aggressive video games so you could kill stuff
& be a hero & stuff like that..

I think the medicines will do fine, but thanks. I feel fine, but that's not the issue here. By the way, the treatment will work for the areas to get covered, so I'm optimistic. I just want to get off this dang diet so I can eat some real food tomorrow night!
As for the Country Gold, thanks so much for listening. There will be much more to come, too, and if YouTube aficionados post new things that I can use here, well, you'll be seeing and hearing them.
