I cant voye in your poll, it is far too narrow. I love all music. Thats not to say I love every song out there, but in every genre of music I can find something I can listen too. OK maybe not pop culture/top 40, I hate that crap . Metal, rock, jazz, blues, funk, rap, motown, classical, latino, fusion , its all good .
Ok so no pop, top 40, or teenie bobber stuff and Ill give it a go !
Of things unlisted I like some folk, Celtic, and general "World Music." On World Music I like some of the fairly "roots" World Music (by that I mean the traditional music of another culture done in a traditional manner) as well as some that's a bit more commercial/pop.
Anyway you're selection of genres is okay. I think the main genres you forgot to list are Blues/R&B, New Age, Metal, and Latin. Folk and World might be too minor in the mainstream. I might have forgotten "Metal" in your shoes as I don't like Metal.
All of the above. The only entire genres of music I don't listen to would be bluegrass and weird folky-folk music, as in polka or that Mexican "eyeee yieee yieee" music.
I voted for the broad categories of country and rock, though I like a lot of different types of music. Both of those categories cover a variety of formats, at least as defined by radio, though I tend to prefer some of the older stuff I grew up with than the newer stuff that's popular today.
I like almost everything that's been lumped in with country, as well as some of the alternative stuff that doesn't have a home on radio. Western, Bluegrass, Cajun, Southern Rock, Rockabilly, alt-country, and whatever else can't be categorized elsewhere seems to fall into the country category, and I generally like all of it.
Rock is similarly broad in its scope, and I like most of what falls into that category, too.
I also like some classical, some pop, some adult contemporary, and some jazz, as well as some stuff that doesn't fit in any of the above categories.
