In your opinion, who are the most underrated Hard Rock/Heavy Metal bands? Are there any bands you feel should have been huge but never got much attention?
For me, I would have to list King's X, Queensryche, and Sevendust. I realize all three acts obtained a certain level of success, but I still don't think they get the recognition or respect they deserve.
Not sure all would qualify in this category, but I would nominate Mordred, Warrior Soul and White Zombie. "Blind" by Corrosion of Conformity is amazing, but I haven't liked their other albums nearly as much so I can't give the band itself a nomination.
No, The Mars Volta wins the award for most overrated hard rock band.
I agree with the people who mentioned King's X and Savatage. I'd also add Kyuss to the list.
