I've recently been listening to King's X quite a bit. I really like what I've heard so far and I'm interested in checking out their entire catalog. I would appreiciate anyone's opinion on the band's albums/songs. Any recommendations? Also, can anyone give me some feedback on any side project involving singer/bassist Doug Pinnick? The man has a killer voice.

Boy, that's a band I haven't heard mentioned in a while!! I have three of their albums - "Faith Hope Love," "Gretchen Goes to Nebraska" and "Out of the Silent Planet." I haven't listened to them in a while but now that you've got me thinking of it maybe I will....they are all good. I think I remember of the three liking OUt of the Silent Planet best, but as I said it has been a little while. Haven't heard of any new projects by Pinnick, but you're right, he has a great voice!

Thanks, I'll have to check out those albums. Right now I have the Dogman album, which I would recommend to anyone, and a bunch of random songs I got off itunes. Good stuff so far.

You could always get their 1997 best of compilation, which gives a pretty good overview of their early to mid years. The albums that CrowGirl mentioned are all pretty good, too.

I vaguely remember their biggest hit sounding something like the Beatles. Think it was off "Faith, Hope, Love."
