Which pier is the most handicapped kid (8 and 11 year old) friendly for thanksgiving week. We'd have to rent poles. They can't wait!

The newly rebuilt pierhouse at 2nd Avenue South is accessible. They have an elevator in place which will take you up to the pier level or to the higher restaurant level.

I'm not sure about Springmaid Pier, Apache, or Pier 14.

Hope you guys enjoy your trip and hope the kids make some good catches!

Surfside Pier is wheelchair accessible and I would also say it is kid friendly (and I would think they would all be kid friendly). As for the other piers I am not sure but here is a link to a site with all the piers, pricing, and information. Phone numbers are included for each pier and I am sure they could let you know the accessibility of their pier. Have a great vacation.

For some reason I can not get the link to work but you can go to www(dot)funbeaches(dot)com/piers.html ... sorry if I put the actual dots in it just turns into gibberish when I submit the post

Thanks Vrexy! I don't know why it wasn't working. I link often without problems but sometimes it just won't let me do it.
