We are considering a 10hr drive down to Myrtle Beach to play some of the variety of mini golf courses they have to offer. We really like challenging and special hole design. (Don't care about exterior aesthetics that don't contribute to the actual game play) So just because there is a cool waterfall on the course doesn't make it better unless you are putting INTO the waterfall. That being said is there a general consensus of which are the BETTER courses to go to? WHich ones to avoid as fluff courses where each putt is basically a straight putt?Any advice/help is appreciated.

Hawaiian Rumble hosts the Masters Miniture Golf.

Welcome to US ProMiniGolf Association -- The Official Internet Site For Prominigolf

I can't think of the guys name who owns it but he can certainly put you in the right direction.

FWIW I would imagine that most of the courses are geared to 8 year olds.

Good luck!

Mutiny Bay in North Myrtle off the main strip has received several good recent reviews ...

Mutiny Bay Miniature Golf - North Myrtle Beach, SC

Also, I've heard good things about the adventurous nature of Lost Treasure Golf courses as well ...

Lost Treasure Golf

Good luck to you on checking these out!

I was just at Cancun Lagoon Mini Golf off Hwy 17 down by Myrtle Inter. Airport. That has been the best ones I've been too!

Cancun Lagoon is fun, we were there last month. 3 different options, indoor and outdoor.

Indoor min. golf? Any good? I'm assuming they have air conditioning.

Hey, Rapture. Yes, it was a good place to play and it did indeed have a/c. The only complaint was that I was hoping if you got a hole-in-one on the last hole your prize would be that they'd buy your house in MI so you could move to MB. Alas, my battle is entering year #3.
