Well, its been in the works for years now and finally is going to happen.

We are looking for homes now to move to Myrtle Beach in August or September of this year.

With the recent crimes and the biker week mess many have told us to not even move to MB but we still are heading your way.

Any tips, ideas, thoughts please let me know.

Having a hard time finding a 4 bedroom home in the Myrtle Beach area. If anyone has any connections to homes for rent please contact me through a dm.

We are all excited to finally be moving out of Ohio and to the Myrtle Beach area.

Long time vacationers to this area and looking forward to living in MB.

Thanks to all of those who have posted info and send dms with kind words.

Some questions:

When does the weather start changing, from the looks of it November/December range?
What is the best HS in the area in your own opinion?
Does the water testing issue recently have an effect on you going to the ocean?

Socasetee is probably the best high school in the area.

It starts cooling down in October. The colder weather usually hits around Thanksgiving although Thanksgiving and Christmas are quite warm many years.

That biker week thing has been going on for years and the crime has always been bad. Not sure why it got more attention this year b/c bad stuff happens every year.

I live in Little River. Not sure about rentals, but has many moderate priced homes. Its quieter than MB but close to Mb, ocean, shops and hgwys. Good luck
