I think we decided on purchasing a small condo in the Surfside Beach area. We found a bunch we like so far. Can anyone give me any info or advice on these areas and whether they'd be a nice place for a central pennsylvania family of four to move to?

South Bay Lakes, Southbridge, Hampton Greens, Deer Track Villas, and Maddington Place.

The only one I'm familiar with is Deer Track and my advice would be to stay away from it.

I used to manage an auto repair facility nearby and had several customers who lived there. They told me many stories of undesirable activities happening in and around the facility. They regretted living there and were trying to get out.

Ok Thank you. Most of the ones we like are in South Bay Lakes and Southbridge. Does anyone know anything about those two?

I'm not familiar with the areas, but what I did was pull a prospective property up on Tulia and then check out the crime stats for the area at the bottom of the page. It will also show the schools in the area and their ratings.
