Hello,
I am thinking about moving to Myrtle Beach, SC sometime this year. I was to be close to the ocean but in a family friendly area. I don’t know anyone in this area and have some questions....

I am due to have my first child this year and wasn’t sure if Myrtle Beach has areas that are more family friendly than others?

How much does daycare average for full time?

Are there any school districts you would recommend moving into or avoiding?

Since no one has answered, I’ll jump in.

First, you should post your questions in the Myrtle Beach sub-forum where people know the area better. There are many threads to read through and you’ll get many of your answers.

Second, be specific — price range, house style and size, etc

Third, job? Where would you be working. You’ll want to be close for commuting.

Lastly, everyone wants to be close to the water so prices are higher there.

Best of luck in your search.

Carolina Forest is probably one of the more family friendly areas that are good for kids & schools.
