I'm on the fence of making a decision that would require a move for up to 5-7 years to M. Beach.

With that said, I've been looking at homes in the Grande Dunes area. My biggest concern is how many people and families live there year round. Does anyone know?

Also, how many of the homes are foreclosures?

There are several house foreclosures in the Grand Dunes which might provide you with an attractively priced entree into that neighborhood. They are literally brand new. On the other hand, most of the single family house part of the GD is creepily empty - just a lot of vacant land with very little built on it. I can't see that changing anytime soon in this real estate market. The sections along the ICW and the beach have houses on them but those are megabucks. The amenities in the development are wonderful. My wife and I had dinner at the Ocean Club and it was a memorable one.
