We are ready to purchase a condo and would like some advice. We want to be close enough to walk to the beach, want a water view (bay or gulf), would like to rent it out to offset the costs and are willing to spend up to $300 for a 2 bedroom. Is it possible?

What areas would be easier to rent out: North Naples, further south and should we even look at Bonita Springs?

Can anyone recommend any complexes we should look at? Looked at some in Bluebill area and Vanderbilt Beach but would welcome other suggestions.

Really perplexed about going up to Bonita Springs as well. Any advantages? Thoughts on market prices over the next few months?

Bonita is probably going to be a bit less expensive, but might be slightly more difficult to rent out if the renter knows the areas (less to do there). And, as far as the prices over the next few months, they'll drop toward and during the summer, but you won't have the same amount of choices, either. (Sellers get more desperate as time goes on, of course.)

As far as getting a 2/2 condo on either The Bay or The Gulf, certainly NOT The Gulf, and I highly doubt you'd get one for that on The Bay, either. But, maybe other posters will correct me.

I don't think you will find a place for 300K that meets your criteria.
