Looking at properties at both Turtle Lake and Positano Place. Does anyone have any feedback on either place. Nice area? Crime?

We are looking to purchase a seasonal home

Thank you in advance

Default Turtle

I know some co-workers who live in Turtle Lake, older condos and some houses are located there. It is really centrally located in the Naples area. I have heard the condo fees are really high and they have had a large number of foreclosures and walk-aways , so expect the fees to be a bit high.
Research how many foreclosed and bank owned units if you want to see how many people are no longer paying their fair share of the HOA fees and upkeep

We actually just came back from Naples this weekend and visited both Turtle Lake and Positano Place. Turtle Lake is an older community but closer to the beach whereas Positano is further from the beach but newer and has nicer amenities.

Default Turtle Lake Golf Colony - thoughts on purchase

Trying to decide on how safe an investment and area the Turtle Lake Golf Colony is in Naples, FL. Number of owner vs renter; crime in area, foreclosures, how crowded pool is (1 for ~400 people who live there), etc. Any and all info on the community would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
