Good morning! Just wondering if Naples has any fun stuff going on for halloween? I was having issues finding haunted houses or any of the "festive" stuff.

Any help or links would be awesome
thanks!

In the past couple years they've stopped doing the haunted houses and such. Some of the funeral homes used to put on haunted houses but no more. They've recently shut down The Fright Factory also.. soooo good luck.. They let the kids trick or treat at the mall at if u have a small kid.. We had huge parades and pumpkin festivals up north but I can't find much in the way of scary things here. Maybe try ft. myers area

Try Ybor City (Tampa). We went a few weeks ago on a Haunted Ghost Tour. It was very much like Ghost Hunters where you use all the equipment, etc., but they do have regular ghost walking tours. Most of the bigger cities in Florida, i.e., Tampa, Miami, Key West, St. Augustine, etc., have them. I am sure there will be quite a lot of Halloween activities going on in those places. Yes, I think even Ft. Myers has some but not quite on the scale of the bigger cities.

Naples is really just local treat or treating for the young crowd. Why don't you yourself organize a house Halloween party for the kids? Rent some movies, decorate the house, have treats, etc.? We did that when our kids were little.

Collier County Parks and Recreation usually has Halloween events. Here is their web page: Collier County : Special Events
They don't have a list of events for October yet. The malls usually have trick or treat night too. Not sure about haunted houses for this year. We will have to wait and see. You could also contact Party City on Pine Ridge Rd. Call and ask them if they know of any Halloween activities yet. The Collier County 4H club usually has a Fall Festival. They are planning one this year too, but they don't have a date set yet.

Marco Is. used to do a Parade. The individual float members would throw out candy to the viewing public. It was great for the kids. But I've been too busy the past couple of years to note if it's still done.
