We are coming to Naples next month(We live in Florida) with our 2 elderly dogs in tow.

We will be there 3 nights/so 2 full days.

Our dogs love to sleep and can be left for about 5 hours.

I was thinking about the zoo and was thinking about the eco tour to the Everglades but I think the 4 hour trip might be longer and perhaps much of the time is spent getting to the everglades and not as much fun as it sounds.

The Botanical Gardens or maybe they are too laid back?

We want to have a fun laid back time but on the go but our Dogs are of much consideration and we wouldn't leave them more than 5 hours.

Help please/not much of a beach person or a shopper.

Both retirees.

ABBARA,

You're going to have the best time and your dogs are going to love chilling out while you're out and about Naples. Go to this site and pick a few and review them. They go by number & believe me they have a TON of places to check out right in Naples, you two will certainly be very busy! --- also with all the numbered places check out the #1 spot on that site will ya, it seems to be the best one; no wonder they have all their attractions numbered...you'll like the way this site is set up. I used to be one of their "local experts" but I gave it up because it can get kind of ridiculous with the other local experts on that board. IN any case, here's the site and have a wonderful time:

Thanks so much,I didn't think anyone was going to respond.

I like the zoo/botanical gardens and the swamp sacntuary. We are rather into nature.

Looks like we will have a good time and I think we can take the pups with us to the Gardens.
