Im gonna be in Naples from sept. 12-15 for a conference.

Ive been there once before and went out on the pier, which was nice.

Suggest some fun things to do in Naples or surrounding areas..

Maybe some stuff that only locals would know about.

(Cheaper stuff is better)

Thanks all!

Kinda hard when we don't know what you consider 'fun' but the Naples Zoo is interesting, not just because of animals but all the plants, flowers, trees.
A ride if it's sunny, south on 41 towards Everglades City or out Alligator Ally is free if seeing 'gators laying around the roadways has any attraction for you.
If houses and opulance turns you on, a ride around Marco Island and/or Naples Bay and Port Royal or a day cruise around the bay.
Have no 'insider' ideas.

The Fakahatchee Boardwalk at Big Cypress Bend is award-winning, and worth checking out, since it's an easy way to experience the 'swamp'. Also, Big Cypress National Preserve (a different agency) has numerous talks & swamp walks and kayak trips during the winter. See their Visitor Center for more info. There are several airboat contractors along the Hwy 41 drive from Naples to Miami, and an airboat trip is quite a bit of fun. The 'Tin City' dining/cruising area is enjoyable, but not necessarily cheap. The (extensive) beach is free.
