Hi, I'm future law school student who's strongly considering relocating to Naples, FL. I currently live in Metro Atlanta and I've been researching the Naples area for some time, trying to get a feel for its demographics. I'm perfectly okay with there being an overabundance of caucasians in the area, but I don't want to stick out like a sore thumb in the area. As far as diversity goes, is it that bad? In regards to other ethnicities other than white people? Again, not trying to sound in any way bigoted, just looking for a local perspective on the area. And as far as local attitudes are concerned, I'm fairly conservative, so the local culture isn't an issue. What I am concerned about is getting the feeling that I'm not wanted or I don't belong, that I'm particularly not fond of. Is there any of that kind of atmosphere in Naples or is it fairly open and receptive to black men, or other ethnicities? I'd greatly appreciate any feedback.

There is plenty of diversity in the Naples area. I cannot imagine that you will feel out of place.

Naples is God's waiting room for the most part but it's a friendly place. As a college student you will be bored out of your mind so you have Miami across the state. That is of course if you are into the Miami scene at all.
