I will be closing on a new construction property at the end of May. Do you need an attorney for the closing being that we are buying new construction from the Builder. Verona walk is the property, Devosta is the builder. Thanks!

in my experience of buying a few new construction homes, a good RE lawyer will be able to explain the mice print, but I suspect the contract you signed with the builder was/is very one sided: the builder's side. A RE lawyer may try to bargain or negotiate some line items, but the chance to rearrange or add to your favor are slight, imo.

Where the RE can help is in 'fees', as most new construction contracts have large parameters of what they can charge for title, etc.

You didn't mention if it is a cash buy or the home will carry a mort; if mort I vote for the RE lawyer, (one not connected to the community or the builder in any way). If cash, it's a toss up, imo, except for some head nodding and 'consultation' to you. Whether it is worth the cost to you, none of us can determine that.
