For non Florida fish (i.e Salmon, Swordfish), you should do Fresh Market over Publix any day.

The places in Goodland are pretty fresh.

We drove down to Islamorada Sunday. I found FRESH hogfish at Lazy Days. MMM It was excellent. When I asked them how fresh it was, they took me over to their fish counter and it was almost still wiggling.

Surely, that is obviously because here with the Gulfstream Currents the waters stay clear and fresh....

Marc, it's Lazy Days Restaurant south end of Upper Matecumbe, next door to Bud and Mary's. Lupe has opened another one in Marathon and Lazy Lobster in Key Largo

he got some very bad reviews...dirty, bad food and service, etc.....in all that moving
...Locals stopped going except for the happy hour crowd at the bar

Seems to be back on track now and better

No one goes to the Islamorada Fish Company when you are down in the keys? We first went there when it was no more than a garage kitchen and a few picnic tables. And don't forget, Snooks is also in Key Largo. You guys better get a map. Another place is Keys Fishery on Marathon. You guys got to get out more. He He!!
