Hi, my husband kids and I are heading down in a few weeks for a family vacation and was wondering if anyone could tell us if there are places where you can see sharks without having to be in a boat? Thank you in advanced.

I have not witness this, but I have been told that if you visit the Naples fishing peer at night, you can see them swimming in the spot lit water.........

(Or maybe it was one of the fishing peers in the Myrtle Beach area. Either way, the show should be the same......).

Sharks that are visible are rare here. They don't just swim all over in the waters and usually certainly don't come close enough to shore with the crowds we get at the beach. I've lived here 31 years and seen one shark come into shore. Boat is your best bet and even then I highly doubt you'd see one.. Dolphins can been seen almost daily at the Pier though
