Sorry Naples isn't known for being cheap. Unless your privy to Section 8 (around $900+) a month expect to pay $1200-$1400 a month for 2 bedroom anywhere liveable. This is season so prices will be as high as people can get them. Homes will rent out for about $2400+. My last two bedroom went from $970+ a month two years ago and now rents for $1475 , no upgrades..

We recently moved to Naples and I can confirm nearly any decent two bedroom apartment starts around $1,300 per month. As far as pets go, if they are allowed, most complexes will not allow more than two small pets/cats, and you will most likely be charged "Pet Rent' per month on top of your rent and pet deposit.

Another thing that I learned after relocating to Naples, is that you must make a minimum of 3x the amount of monthly rent per month in order to move into any house or apartment in the area.

Agreed. Rental rates have shot up because the housing market is so strong in Naples.
