I hear you, but after 28 years here, I am still not used to it and dread summer in Naples. I need to become a snow bird!

Just spent the last 4 hours outside working on my kayak trailer in the shade. The heat index is 103 and I am feeling every stinking degree of it. Just brutal.

Yup, even after nearly 28 years, I am definitely not used to it.

Powerwashing driveway and sidewalk today. Hot? You bet. I just cool off by thinking of 35 years of winters standing behind snowblower hours at a time with snow blowing back into my face. I dig it.

Does that work?

I usually just jump in the pool. I am just as wet, but cooler. I don't get my work done though.

I never thought I'd get used to it, but I have. Although, I never stay out for very long during the day at all. I'm pretty much a slave to air conditioning.

It could be worse. It's 100 degrees in Orlando, and that is the actual temperature.

Orlando is Florida Hell. We were there last July for a wedding and I was laughing at the humidity and heat index. That is the Valley of Death.

Going by your definition, I am "used" to it too. Until I have to spend a few hours outside with no AC.
