I can no longer tolerate the hard water in my home. My hair and skin have taken a toll and the taste even though filtered is getting to me. Has anyone had these systems installed in their homes and who did you use? Cost? I would do the entire house. Kitchen and two baths. Thanks!

I used David Price on two homes in the last four years. He changed both properties over to whole house RO systems. I've used three other water companies over the years and David is far superior.

I have two systems in my home - a whole house Kinetico and a Kinetico K5 RO system at the tap which is an additional step for drinking water.

No issues with hard water, taste issues, laundry, etc.

I did this at build time so I have no idea as to competitiveness on price but I've been happy with the system.

Is this necessary for homes on well water...or is the water in general in Collier County really hard requiring a whole house R-O system?

I don't have a whole house RO. I have a water softener and RO units on the sinks. If we end up staying in this house, we'll probably get a whole house RO unit. I live in the western estates (west of 951).

We purchased a water conditioning system from Aqua Systems. Been very happy with their product and pricing!

This or some form of treatment is essential for well water. City water varies but generally you don't need any sort of whole house system for city water.

I have this too. I also have an egg beater system which removes the sulphur smell. This was worth every penny because the smell went away and it eliminates the aerator tank-nothing to clean now!
