Assuming you mean Marco Island here...I wasn't sure but was curious! Here's what I found:

Florida and in particular Collier County has specific Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) laws and Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEV) regulations governing the usage and construction of "street legal" golf carts. Even when a particular vehicle is legal to drive on the road, these vehicles are only legally able to travel on roads with posted speeds of 35 MPH or less.

I figured it would be legal but wondered if anybody used them on the island and how many streets are under 35 MPH. One member said I would probably get killed, so I'm assuming the speed limit is higher than 35 or people just can't drive...Any insight?
Thank you

People definitely have difficulty driving down here. Especially during Geriatric Bumper Car Season, but the texters have leveled the playing field, age wise, so everyone drives like their 101 years old.

Only if you have a death wish. I didn't even like driving a car on that island let alone a golf cart
