There are a lot of Italian restaurants and some of them are very good, some are not so good. Always room for real quality. Location will be a big factor. I think North Naples is a good area that needs more high quality restaurants. Anywhere from Pine Ridge to Immokalee close to 41 is where you want to be IMO.

Good luck!

My little Sicilian seconds this. Rent will be much more reasonable....for Naples standards also.

There is a large percentage of the population here that is from the northeastern states, where Italian heritage is more prevalent than anywhere else in the USA. Because of that, demand for good Italian food is very strong in this area. Restaurants are difficult to to keep alive here, partly because of the long off-season and partly because of a lot of competition. But if you're good and have a good business plan, you have a good shot at making it work. Good luck! Let us know when it opens.
