I'm going to buy plantation shutters for my house in Riverstone. I would appreciate your thoughts on wood vs poly - and your thoughts on installers. I am considering Shutter Up, Naples Shutter and Sunburst Shutters.

I'm looking at $10,000 give or take. I want to be sure I make the right decision.

Thank you.

After extensive research and comparison we had real wood shutters installed by Naples Shutter on all windows and 2 sliding doors that lead to lanai. It was one of the best experiences Ive had with a contractor and I have high expectations. Everything was perfect and the end result was magnificent. Totally transformed the house.

I used Sunburst Shutters through Lowes. Wait for a sale at 10% off and use a Lowes credit card for 5% additional off.
I got 13 window/doors done with the white composite shutters. I had one slider door shutter made that slides all the way to the wall. That itself was quite expensive but looks great.
The sales rep from Sunburst was named Brady and he was very professional. The shutters had no sale tax on them as they are considered a permanent fixture.
I am very pleased. Guaranteed for life too.
