Best Route to North Carolina

We just drove back home to Charlotte, NC from Naples yesterday. We took I75 -> 301 -> 10 -> 295 -> 95. Made record time too. 10 hrs and 10 mins. We hit lots of rain in Columbia, SC so I'm shocked it wasn't longer

If you're going to to Raleigh though you'll probably just stay on 95 once you hit it. We had to take 95 -> I4 on the way down because fires closed the back roads.

Be careful on 301 I think that's the road, I heard some of those small towns have speed traps so you have to be very careful not to speed, once you are on I-95 everyone goes 10 mph over the speed limit and very few going that fast are stopped since a lot driver 20 over the speed limit.

Need to watch your speed in the town of Lawtey along US 301 particularly in the school zone there. They watch that like a hawk. Waldo which is south of Lawtey use to be a terrible speed trap but they have since disbanded their police department and turned things over to the sheriff''s office so I don't believe it is the speed trap it use to be.

Drive smart on 301 and monitor CB channel 19 for radar officers . You can make time as it's a straight drive toward I-95 . Still faster than other options .
