If you lived around Ft Pierce/ Jensen Beach the florida turnpike is near by and you can to drive with in 1.5 to 2 miles of MCO . You would also have far more inter coastal and back water areas for fishing and be close to the Big O or off shore fishing . Indian river estates is not like GGE but has larger lots and way more woods around the homes .

My in laws live in PSL. I've done that drive to work a bunch of times over the years. It's about 1:45-1:50 with no traffic and, surprisingly, I-95 is a much easier drive than the turnpike.

If we're gonna go though the hassle of a major move, I really want to be closer to an hour away. 1.5 (Vero Beach) is the absolute maximum, and everything else is gonna have to be perfect if I'm gonna go that far. If I'm gonna hate where I live, I might as well have a short commute to work!
