The snook are hitting down in the 10000 islands S of Marco. That area is unaffected. Chatham river down through Lostmans have a good bite.

The snook in Estero Bay have either moved offshore or up the unaffected rivers like the Imperial. Quite a few tarpon way up the rivers too, friend of mine has been catching them early in the evening off his dock.
We'll launch out of Chokoloskee this weekend.

Had to find them snook in nc mountains for sure . have to visit down south catch'um and rush back with 'um

I found it hard to find brown ,rainbow and occasionally brook trout down there too and we have high volume two creeks that border our property . Some deeper holes have small mouth bass and catfish safe to eat . That can be rather hard to find in south florida .

The market may get cold here real fast if Collier County gets to impose all these new taxes. The exception would be the wealthy. New water drainage, Fire, and sales tax.
I would say, none of these guys are very good at managing our money.

Not a fan of catfish, but is that bass good eating?

Yup......

Lehigh, (and to a lesser extent, GGE) exploded during the last boom, when housing prices in Collier and Ft Myers went through the roof.

It used to be that what little traffic there was went from Naples to Ft. Myers in the morning and reversed in the afternoon. Folks lived in Naples and worked in Ft. Myers. Now it's the opposite. Lots of folks work in Naples and live in Lehigh etc.

These new "fees" are gonna squeeze even more folks out of Collier.

They're taxing the rain now.

I assume it's going to initiative and referendum. It's been defeated before.

The rain tax is, apparently, a done deal.
