Precisely......

We've been packing up the house the last few weeks getting ready for new floors, some kitchen work and paint. Hopefully we'll have the house on the market by March or April.

Don’t envy your task...was about a year ago that I put my home on the market, took until September to sell. A bunch are for sale now $100-150K+ more than what I sold for, same floor plan with less upgrades - and $75-100K above the Zestimate. Good luck to them...

It's a big job just getting it ready to sell. I almost can't wait for the actual selling part.

We've been in Naples for over 30 years, and in this house for 20. Lots of stuff has accumulated in that time. I am finding things I didn't even know I had, nor recollect ever buying, sometimes in the most random places.

The garage is my hobby room/workshop, and I've been working out there for several weeks. I am finally hitting bottom. The scrap metal guy loves me.

The wife has been going nuts in the house. We've got a Pod coming Mon. that we're gonna put the stuff that needs to be out of the way for the renovation (furniture, boxes etc.) Stuff we won't need until after the move is going in the shed.

2 pickup bed loads have already gone to Goodwill and some other places, and we've got almost enough for another! I am donating the rest of my old PA gear and some other stuff to a friend's church.

I'll miss a few things about living here, but I am really looking forward to moving.

Yup. 45-50 minutes.

In the last 6 months, I've driven to/from Eustis/MCO 30-40 times, and I've hit traffic exactly once. It was caused by an accident on 528 during rush hour, in the rain. Added 20 minutes.

There is the typical FL roadway buffoonery once I hit Apopka on 429, but thankfully, it's short lived.

I cannot believe I did the Naples commute for 18 years. Best move I've ever made.
