I bought into the neighborhood about a year ago and I wish someone would have told me about the noise levels in the Paloma community. Im guessing the car noise is coming from I75 but it seems to radiating through the houses. Anyone else have this issue with Paloma?

Not specifically your situation or location. Have lived in noisier neighborhoods. A little bit of White Noise makes a huge difference. A fountain, a fan, something. Also soft surfaces such as fabric, plants outside, etc.

Google Map your address: Most of that community is a few hundred feet to less than a qtr mile just east of I-75...

While the prevailing winds tend to be west to east, that close proximity to I-75 equals road and traffic noise.

Many communities in SW FL have been/are being built very close to I-75; the developer/sales people don't mention the 'noise' and it often requires a few visits during different times of day/day of the week/wind direction to gain an understanding of the close by road noise situ.

Our first winter escape house in North Naples, FL was < 1/4 mile from I-75 as we were smitten, and did not check out locale thoroughly before having it built.

Even with a community wall or a DOT wall, the road noise never goes away completely, fountain or lanai speaker music or...for the hearing impaired it may not present a problem. But even as a Geezer, my hearing is v good and road noise is not on my list of 'features' for anywhere I live.
