Moving because of Newsom is ridiculous though, i must agree with the person above. We had cities with beaches closed, sports closed, etc. Many movie theatres aren't re-opening again, bowling alleys..heck even my kids golf camp was closed all summer in the very red Lee & Collier county.

Its not like Newsom is purposely trying to ruin your life for his own pleasure. He's doing what he thinks is right to keep people from dying. Move from CA because of the fires, high taxes, lack of jobs in your field, etc. But moving because a governor did some measures that were more 'extreme' than neighboring states for a virus that will have a vaccine in a few months is a bit silly
Hate to disagree, as a 58 year CA resident and newly retired peace officer, Newsom is purposefully trying to ruin lives. His dinner sitting shoulder to shoulder with the CA health lobbyists, all of which were mask less and were all responsible for the mandates telling us to stay home, don't visit our families and wear a mask inbetween bites have flown right over the head of the sheep. Yes, he's a hypocrite of the first order, but more than anything it should have shown us all the obvious, they aren't afraid of this virus...not at all. Do you really think that if Newsom thought there was the slightest chance he could catch a virus that would kill him he would be there? With his wife and friends? Those friends were doctors, medical lobbyists, none of them social distancing, none of them wearing masks. Stop listening to what these evil ****s have to say and watch what they do. California voted twice for the death penalty, most recently voted to speed up the process. Newsom pre election said in the Chronicle that he would let the voters decision stand. 2 weeks after he was elected he put a moratorium on the process, and in the last two years has released over 20,000 inmates back to our streets. Most of which end up on our streets in these criminal homeless camps. California is a sinking ship. Newsom yesterday signed into law that he/the state would now be able to buy foreclosures. Greed? Yeah, but more telling is the need for this new law, they know something, they've crushed this economy, 80 businesses closed in my small foothill town alone that will not be returning..our options are walmart or safeway. They KNOW there's a housing crisis coming like we've never seen here before and this new law gives them free reign to profit from the misery they are responsible for. Gavin Newsom is ****ing evil.
