5th Ave South is Naples South and is considered the luxury downtown including Marco Island areas are high end with beautiful homes etc...I would choose south naples over north as the beaches and boutiques and fine dining restaurants are right there.

I have lived in Naples for 8 years and I can confidently say that North Naples is a great place to live. East Naples is cheaper, you could get a bigger house for the same price, but you are 100% better off heading North. Most people whom are honest with will you tell you that North is nicer. The communities are nice, the schools are great for Florida and the re-sale on a home is more.
Purpleleash22. I looked over most of Florida before I found Naples. We also moved from the UK and it is the best decision We have made, we have many people visiting from England and they all agree, Naples is perfect, it's like being on holiday 24/7. Oh apart from the fact that I still work, but it makes it so much easier waking up in the morning and loving where you live. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions on Naples.

Default Incorrect , wrong

Some of the posts are wrong about safer areas in Naples, all of Naples is the safest area in Florida, streets are safe and are landscaped to perfection. This blog shouldnt continue as it off into left field and incorrect information and can only damage the tourism industry. Please remove this blog of hearsay.

How about specifying which posts you find not factual? Naples is a safe city overall, but there IS crime here, and it's not always confined to the "ghetto" areas...... Not to mention that the original poster is not asking about tourism. They were asking about safe places to live......

At least it's on what would otherwise be prime riverfront!

What about Bristol Pines subdivision in North Naples? How is that area? We are thinking about a villa there for retirement.
