So, in your opinion ( or facts if you have em) where is all the money generated in this town? I'd think places like high scale restaurants, the Ritz Carlton/hotel resorts, and Downtown shops are where all [majority] of the money is. Is this correct? If you could elaborate, even specify - I'd very much appreciate it. _Thanks_

Money isn't GENERATED in Naples. It's SPENT in Naples.

It's like Palm Beach (the Island) in that respect.

Not quite sure what your intention is here.

I suspect most of the serious money is hidden within the high-end gated communities out of reach of rascals ; - ).

Also, Naples is big smart mid-western and Texas money, not old naive east coast blue blood money that you might come across elsewhere...and I would not want to get one of those dudes with their own personal Blackwater security contracts mad at me, or even curious about me, for any reason, as advice to anyone with unsavory intentions. The police are very suspicious of everything, and pull cheap cars over on any pretense - which has happened to me once when I was passing through in a cheap rental.

Now, for females looking to bag a billionaire, which is a relatively honorable goal, my first suggestion is that you scale down to a mere millionaire or successful professional or business person, and hunt in a less obvious, and less paranoid territory.

Billionaire boys are for millionaire and surgeon's daughters who go to $30000k per year schools and are of exceptional attractiveness, and have strong stomachs for abuse and inevitable divorce.

"they who marry for money, earn every penny"

my advice to young women is to rather target a plain looking man of exceptional ethics and moderate ambition, a little bit religious who has a compulsive natural empathy for all living things, otherwise you will join the list of female victims of jerk males, at best, with a couple of million dollars in the bank from the settlement, but alone.

I think the average age of becoming a widow for trophy wives is 42. It is very sad to see the rich old men at Coconut Point and Waterside with their wives the age of their daughters or grandchildren, and the hearty middle age trophy wives having to care for their rich husbands, who have become geriatric.

sorry for the tangent...sitting around with time on my hands today and feeling philisophical...I realise this is way off topic

My 23yr old daughter was just visiting her 30yr old cousin and they went out to a rather fancy bar in Naples and she said it was full of middle aged and older men hitting on much younger women.

Did you know the median age is 62?

Yea, SPENT would be the correct terminology...and to further specify, how about spent during the months of Nov.-April ?

Yes, tangents belong in geometry. I can't wait to hear your version of the pythagorean theory, I'm sure it's rather obtuse.
Though sadly, what you say is true.

What has the world come to?
It is the sum of all the current population bred exponentially from past generations, divided by the percentage of sinners (100%=1....[minus 1 of course]{of the quotient} - Jesus, incase I'm losing you... 'If' ,of course, that is your belief..{can also be spelled be-life}], notice I say current), multiplied by the number of years each person has been alive, multiplied again by technological advances, multiplied positively for good [love, peace, happiness, light, life, energy, laughter, joy, health, rest, unity, harmony, euphoria, truth, freedom, perfection etc.] and then negatively for bad [hate, war, sadness, anger, death, greed, selfishness, destruction, pollution, age, sickness, disease, injury, famine, plague, man, hunger, thirst, poison, work, suffering, pain, stress, slavery, injustice, darkness, enmity, suicide, murder, drugs, mis beliefs, disharmony, weakness, desertion, confusion, abuse, corruption, insanity, destruction, temptation, adulterous lust, gluttony, melancholy, loss, sloth, laziness, wrath, envy, false pride, mortality, curses, karma, lies, sin-(see how all things bad have become so through sin), the summation of the product of good and bad is your answer. Therefore [if you are to include ALL of mankind ever to live, exponentiate your answer thus wise], you are left with a negative number somewhere in the googolplex range. Mind blowing isn't it?

Thanks for the clarification Tommy.

Anyone care to shed some wisdom on the subject at hand?
