Granada Lakes is a safe area. Those were apartments that converted to condos during the building craze.

You absolutely must look at these before you buy. They are not necessarily bad but they are very cheap.

Almost all of Naples is safe. You need to give us more information to narrow it down.

I would post in the Canada forum about buying property in the US.

Thanks a lot RMD3819. Really appreciated. What other communities in Naples you think are safe? Where do you suggest I look?

Foxfire, Kings Lake, Moon Lake, Berkshire (there are several) there are so many options now. Most of the gated communities are decent.

What is your price range?

If you Google some of the real estate sites and give me some development or street names I can help you better.

Actually I have a site where I saw some excellent deals. I got it from a friend of mine. It is called “Trulia.com” I got interested because I saw 1 bedroom condo selling for $ 20,000 to $ 25,000 and a 2 bedroom condo roughly for $49,000 to $ 50,000. Now, I am looking to buy 1 bedroom and the price it should not be more than $25,000. I am planning to have this as a vacation condo, and if is possible when I am not there I would like to rent it out. Already talked with some real estate agents, but you know how it is, they will sale you everything and anything. So, that is why I wanted more of the private opinion from people who leave there. Thanks a lot.

Granada Lakes Villas Owners: glvowners.com | by the owners, for the owners

Any thoughts on Granada Lakes in Naples? The units look decent and the prices are low. Are there hidden? - Trulia Voices

Check out those websites.

Don't get mesmerized by that price. A $25,000 condo in Naples is going to have some kind of issues to go along with it. Grenada Lakes isn't really a vacation home type of place.

If that is your price limit I doubt you'll find anything in Naples that isn't ghetto or have some kind of problems to go along with it.

I agree.
Where does the OP think he's going to find any condo or place to buy, for $25Gs, that one would live in? Not in Naples, or Toledo,
or Omaha, or Canada.

Are you sure you don't mean $250,000? Because I would think any realtor you spoke with would have told you you can't find anything in Naples for $25,000 no matter where it's located.

They do have condos in that development in that price range, although most are much higher.

In one of those blogs (from the above links) there is mention of one that sold for $15K.
