I'm planning to move to Murfreesboro in about 9 months. My fiance will be going to MTSU and I'll work in Nashville. We currently have a budget of about $800 a month, but we will be a little flexible. We are also planning to have a baby very soon, so a family atmosphere is important (not the college student scene please!). We have two cats, so it's important they are accepted there. Does anyone know of any good apartments to check out? We are planning to visit next week. Any less known places maybe without a website?

Puckett Station in Blackman area is nice. Murfreesboro is a long commute to Nashville, and Blackman area is the closest to N'ville...may want to check out Smyrna/LaVergne area, to split the driving distance for you and your fiance.

Check out the St. Andrew's Apartments, Woodgate Farms, Westbury Farms and Carrington Park as well. All are in your price range, in nice neighborhoods and very convenient in Murfreesboro. The ride from Murfreesboro to Nashville is not that long. Many of us do it daily and have done it daily for years. Best of luck to you!

Puckett Station is a subdivision of homes NOT an apartment complex.

There's an apartment complex in there, though. It starts with an "A"...Abingdon? Nice place.
