What is the best city between clarksville, springfield, hendersonville, gallatin, murfreesboro, brentwood....you get my general area of TN to live. I'm currently in Ky and plan to relocate to tennessee sometime around the end of the year or beginning of next. I don't really have any general criteria. I suppose i would just like the nicest, kid friendly town that i could actually find a job in or not have to drive to far for work. I'm a phlebotomist. Thanks

All very different places... you want "kid friendly", well I'd suggest somewhere that has nice parks and greenways, and of course, good public schools. Right off the top, I'd say that's Franklin, Brentwood, Donelson, and Hendersonville. Mt. Juliet is coming up quickly along those same sort of amenities, and Wilson County schools are known to be very good. So don't rule out Mt. Juliet.

Regarding your point about not having to drive too far... well, I'd suggest somewhere more centrally located than Gallatin, Clarksville (unless you find work there), Springfield, and even Murfreesboro (unless, of course, you find work there). Clarksville and M'boro are both large enough cities to be self-contained with their own range of housing, schools, and other amenities for families. Good luck.

It largely depends on how much you can spend. All those cities you mentioned have vastly different median home prices.
