HELP!! House sold - closes in 2 weeks so now seriously house hunting.... Have 2 we like. One in Rain Forest, (needs work) one on Brookfield, (livable, needs updating). Which subdivision do you favour? and why. Pros and cons please and lots of comments

Rain Forest or Raintree?

I would choose Raintree Forest. It is in a more convenient location and does not have that much turnover.
Brookfield will almost certainly be rezoned to the new northeast high school. The houses are newer, but the neighborhood is just so HUGE. And parts of it feel quite remote. It is almost to Nolensville on the side near Waller Road.
Anyway, those are my opinions. We almost bought a house in Raintree but wanted one acre. You can't beat being that close to Crockett Park, plus Crockett and Woodland schools.
