I don't know if you're still looking, but if you are...

Yesterday, I noticed that the America's Best Value Inn in Lebanon (on the main exit there) was advertising $39.99 per night with hot breakfast included. Good, safe location. You'd be right by a whole bunch of restaurants, an outlet mall, and a Wal-Mart.

Also, there is a Value Place between Lebanon and Mount Juliet. It's close to a few restaurants and a bit cheaper than most by-the-night motels. I don't think they serve breakfast, though.

Best wishes.

if the flight we get doesnt arrive untill 11pm wed still need a place to stay that first night.
Nearly every extended stay has some way of dealing with after-hours check-ins. Call the property in advance and find out what that policy is.

We stayed at Value Place at Rte 109 & 40. They do not serve breakfast, but you are surrounded with restaurants. It wasn't much to write home about, but it was very clean, safe, affordable & convenient to the main roads.
