Depending on where I end up living when I get to TN will tell if Goodlettsville or Gallatin will be more convenient. I will have to stock up on my k-cups when I get there....
Dunkin is getting very popular with everyone I know (friends and those at work). In fact, I go to the one in Gallatin at least once or twice a week. To me, Dunkin's coffee is much better than Starbucks or Panera and its donuts don't feel as fried as Krispy Kreme. I really wish Hville would get a Dunkin. We have two Starbucks (three if you count Barnes and Noble) so why not one Dunkin? A 10 minute round trip drive to the Gallatin location won't kill me, but it would be nice to have one that's more convenient to my morning commutes.

There used to be one on New Shackle next to Sonic but it has been out of business for years. The only Hardee's are in Goodlettsville and Gallatin. I've had 2 bad experiences in Gallatin and wouldn't go back there even if they were giving food away.

I do have good memories of Hardees when I was younger. I wish it was still there. Their cinnamon-roles were amazing.

There were Jack in the Boxes in Hendersonville, Gallatin, and Goodlettsville but they all closed about 2-3 years ago if I recall correctly. Not sure why but can't say that I missed them.

It looks like the Gap Outlet is going to close at the Streets of Indian Lake and open in Opry Mills instead. The reason for the closure was the price of rent. I'm getting very worried about the Streets and their management. There are already eight available spaces and the Gap was one of their largest. I'm worried this is going to turn into a 90's outlet mall in a year or two if they don't do some negotiating. September's vacant restaurant definitely doesn't help either. Has anyone heard anything else regarding the Streets?

Since it was the only outlet store, I can't see why its departure would mean that the place is turning into an outlet mall. I would imagine the high rent would also keep most outlets out.

Remember, the mall was built right before the economic crisis. I think it's done pretty well considering that and the fact that Rivergate saw a lot of growth after Opry Mills closed. It seems that construction around it had really picked back up in the latter half of last year. I'm sure Sam's will draw a lot of people to the area and the construction of new offices like the Windham Professionals HQ will provide a much needed lunch crowd to attract future restaurants.

Honestly, I think the best part of the Streets is that it has given Hendersonville a nice venue for community events like the farmers market, homecoming parades, Taste of the city, etc.
