I grew up in Mt. Juliet really appreciate the growth that has happened here. At the same time, it is and will always have that small town quality in that everyone knows their neighbors and are willing to help out each other. I have moved around the city of Nashville since graduating high school from Mt. Juliet and now, being 26, have decided that there is really no place like home. I love the new mall, and while some might think it is no big deal, it has really helped with the revenue of this city and brought some new conveniences to the city. You used to have to drive between 15 to 30 minutes to get anywhere that would have a variety of places to shop. Now they are all right here.
I have some co-workers that live in Thompson Station and they have all agreed with me that Mt. Juliet has a lot of potential and that traffic from Thompson Station anywhere is awful. One co-worker constantly complains that her drive into work from Thompson Station "immediately puts her in a bad mood".
Furthermore, I grew up in the public schools of Mt. Juliet and I feel, as well as my parents, friends, etc. that we got a great education and always felt safe.

I've lived in Mt. Juliet for four years and can't say enough good things about it. I came from Ohio and I can get to Nashville in 20 minutes. The schools here have a good reputation.

Hello! Welcome to the area...soon! There are lots of great areas around Nashville. I know you've asked about schools so the best thing I can offer is a few websites for you to use your own judgment about them.
www.schoolmatters.com ; www.greatschools.net; You can visit the county sites from this selection here: Tennessee Department of Education - Public School District Office Web Sites List
One last thing, you can review this report where several Middle TN high schools were ranked in Newsweek's rating of the top 1300 schools. America's Top Public High Schools | Newsweek Best High Schools | Newsweek.com
Let me know if I can answer any other questions for you about the area!
