Sorry I'm late to this thread.

As a single male who lived in Nashville from ages 22-28, let me first say you shouldn't have any trouble in Nashville. There are plenty of hot, single women there. If you approach them and you are bringing something to the table, you will score with a percentage of them. It's a numbers game, and in that regard I don't think Nashville is any worse or better than a typical metro of 1.5 million people.

With that said, there is one thing I will warn you about if you plan on staying single past 30 (I refuse to get married before 35). Once you start getting a few years removed from 25, the percentage of women in Nashville your own age who have never been married and don't have kids begins to drop DRASTICALLY.

I wasn't even totally conscious of how much of an issue this is in Nashville (or really anywhere in the true "South") until I moved to South Florida where you can't throw a rock in a crowd without hitting a hot, attractive, childless woman between 28-40. In Nashville, I used to meet chicks downtown who were under 25 and had already popped out two or three units. That is RARE around here.

Still, the bottom line is that there is no metro in the country of greater than a million people where a single person can't score if they actually try. Nashville has the added bonus of being an entertainment hub, making it a magnet for more attractive people. The chicks will be hotter than in comparably sized metros... but so will your competition, so bring your A-game.
