Can someone please tell me an estimated property tax in Brentwood? Let's say on a $600K house with .5 acre. None of the realtor websites seem to list the estimated tax.

Please help. Thanks.

A quick search showed the tax rate as $2.75 total (both Williamson County and the City of Brentwood). This was the rate in 2006. This would be on an assessed value of 25% of actual value.

So, the tax on a $600,000 property would be about $4125.

The state Comptroller's website: TN Comptroller of the Treasury - Division of Property Assessments - 2006 Property Tax Rates (http://www.comptroller1.state.tn.us/PAnew/LR.asp?W=06 - broken link)

Fun with taxes.
